Work backward from prerequisites
List the tasks that must be complete before a campaign can open: route selection, financial statements, ownership cleanup, provider onboarding, offering documents and permitted communications. Identify dependencies. Campaign design can run alongside some legal work, but it cannot substitute for required filing, qualification or intermediary review.
Set three readiness gates
First, confirm the strategy and whether the company can afford preparation. Second, complete the records and offering materials to the required standard. Third, obtain the reviews and approvals needed for launch and make sure support is ready. Give each gate a responsible person and objective evidence of completion.
Estimate ranges and buffers
Ask each provider for a range based on the condition of your records and their actual capacity. Separate time spent doing work from time waiting for third-party review. Keep a cash plan for delays. A target launch month is useful for coordination, but presenting it as a guaranteed outcome can cause poor spending and hiring decisions.
Plan through close and beyond
Include investor onboarding, collection, cancellations, closing work, ownership administration and continuing reports. Do not end the project schedule on launch day. The founder planner provides a phase map; your team should translate that map into dates after the offering route and provider scopes are confirmed.
