Match the campaign to the filing
Search EDGAR using the issuer’s legal name and inspect relevant Form C filings and amendments. Match the offering entity, intermediary and terms. A brand can differ from a legal entity; understand what entity your security relates to.
Find the economic terms
Identify the target, deadline, use of funds, security, valuation or conversion terms and compensation arrangements. Read financial statements alongside risk factors. Note material related-party arrangements and what further financing the business may need.
Track changes
Record the date and version you read. Compare amendments and campaign updates rather than relying on a saved summary forever. If a document is unclear, ask the intermediary for an explanation before making a decision.
